I begin working on a painting in an unconventional way – by painting on loose cotton canvas that is only temporarily stretched. The canvas is prepared with a primer that forms an ideal, stable base for subsequent layers of paint. Only after the composition is complete is the canvas precisely stretched onto wooden stretcher bars or, in the case of smaller formats, mounted in an acid-free mat board (passe-partout).

• Medium: I use only premium, professional oil paints featuring excellent pigment concentration and highest fade-resistance. This guarantees that the colors will stay as vibrant as the day they were painted, even generations from now.
• Detail and Light: The key to achieving subtle tonal transitions, glazes, and precise details is working with Liquin Fine Detail medium. It allows for the construction of smooth, enamel-like layers that uniquely transmit and reflect light, giving the painting an inner glow.
• Protection: The finished painting is coated with a modern varnish designed for oil painting. It protects the paint layer from UV rays and environmental pollutants without yellowing over the years. Varnishing takes place after the canvas has been stretched onto the frame, preventing any micro-cracking that could result from stretching the canvas.

Fine Art Quality Prints

For those who wish to welcome my art into their spaces in the form of prints, I offer collectible reproductions available in custom sizes. I treat both original canvases and fine art prints with the utmost attention to detail, knowing that the quality of materials determines the longevity and expressive power of the artwork.

I collaborate with a professional, specialized print shop in Łódź, which allows me to personally supervise the proofing process (color testing). Each reproduction is a top-tier pigment print created on a photographic plotter using archival, acid-free inks. This technique accurately captures the finest brushstrokes and the subtle nuances of light and shadow from the original piece.

The artworks are printed on premium, heavy-weight, acid-free cellulose paper. This substrate is characterized by exceptional smoothness and archival longevity, providing an ideal base for elegant framing.

Framing Tailored to Your Interior

Choosing the right frame is the crowning touch of the creative process – the perfect framing can bring out the depth of a painting and harmoniously integrate it into the space of your home.

• Originals on Canvas: My works have aesthetically finished edges, allowing them to be hung unframed for a sleek, modern look. However, if you prefer classic elegance, I will gladly assist you in choosing the perfect custom frame.
• Smaller Formats: These pieces are mounted in acid-free, archival-safe mat boards (passe-partout), which visually expands the composition and gives it a sophisticated, gallery-like character.
• Fine Art Prints: Prints are delivered in secure shipping tubes, ready for traditional framing, or they can be professionally mounted with a mat board upon request.
